Wow, sorry it's been awhile! I'm still trying to get the hang of this blogging thing. I forget that I have one, lol. So I guess it's about time for an update on our life this last month...

Well, Jordan made some big changes when we got back to school. He was originally planning on majoring in Business, and then doing all his Physical Therapy pre-reqs (he wants to go to PT school after graduation) on the side. The thing is, there are so many pre-reqs that he would essentially be double majoring, which takes a long time! The main reason he wanted to do a business major was to get some experience and knowledge about business, so that after graduating from PT school, he can run his own physical therapy practice. But after some thought, some conversations with my uncle Jesse and both of our dads (oh yea and me, of course), he opted for a major change. He's now majoring in Public Health, the "Health Science" track. This is a newly developed track that fulfills all the requirements for anyone who's on a premed plan, while also providing some public health prevention-type perspectives. Obviously, I'm really excited because I'm also a public health major, and now we can take some classes together! We are on different tracks, so there's only a couple we can take, but it's still fun, and I'm sure Jordan will like this major. As for business, he's now completing the minor, which he feels will give him enough background so that he knows what he's doing, and he can find out more later if he needs to.

Another big change for Jord came in the form of a new calling at our church! Last semester he was an Elder's Quorum teacher, which he really, really enjoyed. But our first week back afer Christmas, we met with the Stake President 15 minutes before Sacrament meeting to be informed that they'd like Jordan to serve as First Counselor in the Bishopric! Whoa!!! So that was that, and he's up on the stand now, helpin run the show. lol. No, he's adjusting beautifully, and the Bishop felt very strongly impressed that it was important for Jordan to have this leadership experience, so he can learn about how a ward runs and such. It's pretty exciting! And lucky (or inspired) that he didn't plan a really difficult semester like the last one, because being in a Bishopric is a bit more of a time commitment than being an EQ teacher. :)

What else... well, he's pretty much just a stud all the time! He's done an amazing job of fitting exercise into his schedule this year thus far- he loves to run, and has been running (for like, miles and miles and hours) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. He loves it. He's also taken the time to go snowshoing several times, which he enjoys doing with his dad and brother, if they can come. But like today, for example, he just got up and took off around 9, and now that it's 2:15... he's still not back. Yikes! I was worried about him for a bit... I always worry he's going to get wiped away in an avalanche or fall off a cliff and die or the abomidable snowman will get him, or something like that. But he texted me and said it's just a lot snowier than he expected, so it's taking forever. fewf. Besides the snow though, he's also working on a business plan with some mission buddies, which they're entering in the Marriot School Business competition. If they win, they'll get funding to start their company! So cross your fingers for him :).

As for me, well, things carry on much the same. I'm enjoying my classes and work, as usual. I'm starting something kind of new with Nathaniel (the boy with autism that I do behavior therapy with). He's been doing really, really well at school in keeping up with his classmates.

Okay I wrote that like a week ago, so I'll post it and then make a new one now :).
