Stateside

Yikes. I have been negligent as usual. In a nutshell, I finished my internship, we backpacked through Spain and Italy, and spent our last luxurious days in Switzerland with the wonderful Johnson family They are a sweet fam from our church that invited us to stay with them during our last weekend. They. are. awesome! Here are some pictures from a hike we took on our last day in Switzerland:

Then we almost weren't let out of the country at customs because we overstayed our time in Suisse and should have had visas, had our flights flip flopped, lost my phone in US customs, barely made it to UT, had our bags lost, and then spent an awesome evening/morning with my Fillerup grandparents. That was a wonderful finish to a terrible, no good very bad day.

Then we finally got home and had our luggage delivered to our house, and unpacked. And re-booted our life in Utah. FEWF.

So that's what we've been up to. We were also delighted to discover, upon our arrival at the Perry household, that Jordan's sister and our niece and nephew were in town. Who were then followed by his other sister and niece as well. So we've been having a grand old time with the Perry clan.

How could you not love being back in Utah, when these are the sweet faces that greet you?

We have really loved catching up with our family and friends. It's been fun to share our stories... and our chocolate too. I suspect everyone might be prefer the sharing of chocolate, and who could possibly blame them!? :)

It's fun being home :)

It was so good to see that you got home safely, albeit with some complications a long the way. We are actually missing you. Laura especially talks about you both all of the time. We will always keep your rooms ready for you should you ever return. HUG!
